Golf School Practice Facilities
First class practice facilities
James Andrews School of Golf tuition courses make full use of our extensive practice facilities which are also freely available to golf school students during their stay.
Driving Range
The covered, floodlit driving range at Sedlescombe Golf Club has 18 covered bays with a further 20 outdoor, all equipped with top quality range mats and balls. The practicing golfer may aim at a variety of greens and targets that extend slightly uphill over its 250-yard length. Mirrors help you keep an eye on your position. The driving range is open until 9:00 pm during the winter and 10:00 pm in the summer.
Putting Greens
Our seven, fully-irrigated, sand-based putting greens are a centerpiece at the golf club and floodlit for evening use. All seven of the putting greens vary in both length and slope. This gives you the perfect opportunity to practice all types of putts before heading out onto the golf course.
Academy Hole
The 60 yard practice hole allows for full short-game work with realistic ground conditions and two bunkers of varying difficulty. The academy holes allows you to work on a range of chip shots including the chip and run, the flop shot and also the dreaded bunker shot. The hole is surrounded by trees offering a beautiful setting for practice. |
